Optometric Technician/Optician needed for well-established Optometry practice. Primary responsibilities include eye wear styling, frame selection, dispensing, minor repair and adjusting eye wear, ordering and verifying prescription glasses and contact lenses. Experience preferred, but we are willing to train an individual that is interested in health care and enjoys customer service. We are looking for someone with a desire to help people and work in a fast paced environment. Candidate must be self motivated, have excellent verbal skills, be comfortable with basic math, and be able to work effectively despite frequent interruptions. Additional responsibilities include answering the telephone, scheduling appointments and instructing patients in the wear and care of contact lenses.

Salary based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
