Examines patients' eyes to detect and diagnose vision problems, diseases, and other conditions, such as diabetes or hypertension. Being an Optometrist develops treatment plans and prescribes eyeglasses, contact lenses, and/or medication to treat eye disorders. Educates patients on proper eye care and treatment plans. Additionally, Optometrist requires a doctorate degree. Requires Licensed Optician. Requires State License to Practice. Typically reports to a manager. We utilize Optomap® technology with an 80% conversion rate. For everyday support, we offer two full-time technicians and use the Eyefinity EHR system on an iPad — with 24/7 support. What You'll Do: As part of our team, you'll practice full-time, providing eye care to patients of all ages, and visual/medical conditions. You'll perform patient examinations, recommend vision-enhancing solutions based on prescription findings, handle eye emergencies, and collaborate with staff members to help deliver our commitment to improving access to healthcare. Our current practice goal of 12 patients a day with an 80% Optomap conversion. Our future goal is 15 patients a day with an 85% Optomap conversion. We offer daily bonuses.
