JOB SUMMARY
The SQL/Azure Database Administrator plays a critical role in overseeing the integration and maintenance of the company's software-based operational systems, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory standards. Reporting to the VP Data and Analytics, DBA collaborates closely with the management team and department representatives to manage existing systems effectively, implement enhancements, and spearhead the development of new tools, demonstrating proficiency in SQL Server, TSQL, Access, .NET, XML, and agile software development methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL Server database administration, coupled with experience in planning, executing, and managing migrations of on-premises databases to Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
