Order Clerk receives and processes orders for materials and merchandise. Utilizes order tracking and CRM systems to process orders, record prices, delivery dates, inventory status, maintain customer information and other data related to each transaction. Being an Order Clerk confirms orders, updates shipping status, and notifies customers of any backorder or delivery delays. Researches and resolves order errors and updates the system. Additionally, Order Clerk may prepare packing lists or other order-related documentation. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Order Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Automation Personnel Services is working with a Distribution Plant in Port Allen, LA. We are seeking experienced Order Selectors who are looking to join an international company! Job Description : The warehouse is in a fast-paced environment.
This job is best suited for applicants that are team-oriented, punctual, reliable, and have high attention to detail. You will be picking and pulling beverages to fulfill delivery orders.
This is a potentially permanent position with a wonderful company where you can build a long term career! Start Date : April 22, 2024 Shift : 1st shift.
Pay Rate : $17.00 per hour.
Requirements :
- Must have steel toe shoes. All other PPE, including COVID-19 protection face mask, will be provided by the plant manager.
- Must have reliable transportation; public transportation does not go to the plant location.
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts if needed.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. (Lifting assessment required)

Pay Rate
$17.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday thru Friday 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm.
- Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle
- Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
- Feed raw materials or parts to semi-automated machines
- Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
- Test operation of machines periodically
- Fix issues that might occur during the shift
- Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
- Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
- Maintain activity logs
