Order Clerk receives and processes orders for materials and merchandise. Utilizes order tracking and CRM systems to process orders, record prices, delivery dates, inventory status, maintain customer information and other data related to each transaction. Being an Order Clerk confirms orders, updates shipping status, and notifies customers of any backorder or delivery delays. Researches and resolves order errors and updates the system. Additionally, Order Clerk may prepare packing lists or other order-related documentation. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Order Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. List Industries, a leader in the locker and shelving industry is looking to add an Order Entry Clerk to our facility in Deerfield Beach, FL. Order Entry Clerks process orders received from our sales and customer service departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
This position is a full-time, on-site position. Hours are typically Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm. Benefits include medical, dental, 401k match, paid time off and 8 paid holidays. We are a drug free workplace. ADA/EEOC compliant.
