Order Clerk receives and processes orders for materials and merchandise. Utilizes order tracking and CRM systems to process orders, record prices, delivery dates, inventory status, maintain customer information and other data related to each transaction. Being an Order Clerk confirms orders, updates shipping status, and notifies customers of any backorder or delivery delays. Researches and resolves order errors and updates the system. Additionally, Order Clerk may prepare packing lists or other order-related documentation. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Order Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. We are looking for a Receiving and Order-Entry Clerk to perform a variety of tasks related to receiving incoming wintersports equipment and clothing for distribution in the retail store. Receiving Clerk will ensure that all shipment paperwork corresponds with what was ordered and that there are no shortages or discrepancies. While mostly administrative in nature, some physical stock-work will be needed. This is a full-time position through March 2021, possible full-time/part-time in April 2021. May through July/August is planned furlough with rehire on or about August/September 2021.
