Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Order Entry Clerk. As an Order Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately entering and processing customer orders into our computerized system. This is a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient order processing.

Responsibilities:
- Enter customer orders into the computer system with accuracy and efficiency
- Verify the accuracy of order information, including product codes, quantities, and pricing
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any order discrepancies or issues
- Maintain organized and up-to-date files of customer orders and related documentation
- Assist with data collection and analysis for order tracking purposes
- Provide administrative support to the sales team as needed
- Perform general office tasks such as typing, filing, and photocopying

Experience:

• General understanding of metal fabrication processes
• Some understanding and/or exposure to reading blueprints
• Proficient computer skills
• Highly organized
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Basic math skills for accurate order calculations
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate order processing
• Visual ERP experience experience preferred
• Exposure to and understanding of LEAN principals preferred
• Previous experience in data entry or administrative roles is preferred
