Order Clerk, Sr. receives and processes orders for materials and merchandise. Utilizes order tracking and CRM systems to process orders, record prices, delivery dates, inventory status, maintain customer information and other data related to each transaction. Being an Order Clerk, Sr. confirms orders, updates shipping status, and notifies customers of any backorder or delivery delays. Researches and resolves order errors and updates the system. Additionally, Order Clerk, Sr. may prepare packing lists or other order-related documentation. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Order Clerk, Sr. works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.   • Job Summary:

    This position supports the Sales department by entering sales orders and answering client phone calls throughout the day. Team member will communicate with Warehouse, Quality, and other departments to ensure orders are processed. This position will follow all policies, housekeeping, and safety standards of BTPS.
    Duties/Responsibilities:
    • Enter new account set-ups, orders, credits, inquires, and returns.
    • Enter order adjustments as needed.
    • Sends orders to warehouse through the day for processing.
    • Partners with Client Service Representatives (CSRs) to resolve issues.
    • Invoice customers as required.
    • Reviews emails sent to company email accounts.
    • Communicates with Quality Control team regarding shipping and order issues.
    • Reviews various reports and communicates issues to respective partners.
    • Related duties as assigned.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong basic math skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, NAV, QM, and ability to learn database and ordering systems.
