JOB SUMMARY:

FULL-TIME ENTRY LEVEL POSITION- starting pay $33,300 annually

The Customer Service Agent is based in Jefferson County and is required to travel throughout the service area. The incumbent provides courier and inventory control services to the Jefferson County Clerk’s Office (JCC0). The incumbent also has some clerical responsibilities. The incumbent is responsible for work of intermediate difficulty.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Fills supply orders
2. Delivers supplies and mail
3. Runs postage mail
4. Files used decal books
5. Picks up and delivers inter-office mail
6. Excepts out plates
7. Responsible for picking up company van every morning
8. Answers phone
9. Unload and stock supply shipments
10. Handles odd jobs (replaces light bulbs, hangs pictures, etc.)
11. Performs other duties as assigned by the manager

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

1. Kentucky resident
2. Able to be bonded
3. Kentucky driver’s license
4. Effective written and verbal communications skills
5. Able to operate office equipment including computer, printer, fax, copier, and multi-line phone
6. High school education or equivalent
7. Six months experience as a CSR or two years of related experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The work is physical in nature with clerical and data entry responsibilities. It requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing. The work requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations. The work at times requires bending, squatting and reaching, with the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull weights up to 50 pounds
