Order Clerk, Sr. jobs in Pittsfield, MA

A busy manufacturing company is looking to hire a contracted Order Processor. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the logistical processing of customer orders, including coordination with vendors, sales staff, customer service representatives, billing representatives, warehouses and shippers. This position is a long-term contract located in the Goleta, CA area.

Main responsibilities:

• Main customer contact for Order Processing and Weekly Reporting.

• Majority of time spent on email communication, conference calls and weekly team

meetings.

• Assist in creating loading maps, purchase orders, shipping schedules, customer reports,

sales order confirmations.

• Work closely with counterparts at factory to verify accurate information on purchase

orders to ensure accurate and timely information on the Sales Orders to the Customer.

• Work closely with sales account managers on new orders and any additional information

needed for servicing the customer.

• Organize and maintain electronic documentation including purchase order records, sales

order confirmations and other documents as needed.

• Provide reports to internal employees and external customers as required.

• Ensure goods are shipped in the most timely and efficient manner according to

documented processes, including planning and tracking the shipment from pick up through

delivery.

• Work with International Logistics Lead to effectively resolve order discrepancies and

factory issues that may arise
