Order Fulfillment Director leads and directs the order fulfillment process. Oversees order entry, administration, and shipping processes. Being an Order Fulfillment Director develops scalable business processes and customer service standards to deliver efficient order processing. Implements order tracking and CRM systems to process orders, maintain customer information, and monitor contracts or agreements for expiration or renewal. Additionally, Order Fulfillment Director establishes inventory monitoring procedures to track and trigger actions that will maintain appropriate levels of products. Partners with stakeholders to identify conditions impacting the fulfillment workflow and to develop effective solutions. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management.   • POSITION SUMMARY:

    Responsible to assemble customers’ on-line orders, stage, and load to pick-up location prior to customers arrival. Provide a positive customer service experience that make customers want to return to on-line shopping.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    • Surpass customer expectations of online shopping experience with order fulfillment accuracy and quality product selection
    • Fulfill customer order requests with proficiency and precision while processing through order management system
    • Accurately track order selection and package product appropriately with respect and consideration of specific customer requests
    • Inform customer of product replacements needs prior to scheduled pick-up or delivery
    • Ensure positive shopping experience for both online and in-store Kroger customers
    • Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines
    • Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment
    • Report pricing, scanning, item location discrepancies and invalid temperature types to the Store E-Commerce Manager
    • Inspect equipment and notify Store E-Commerce Manager or other store management of items in need of repair
    • Perform required opening and closing procedures
    • Learn and adapt to new and improved processes
    • Can work independently with little supervision
    • Be professional and helpful when dealing with customers
    • Maintain good relationship with store management team and staff
    • Practice safe lifting
    • Other duties as assigned

    MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High school diploma or GED equivalent
    • Be 18 years of age or older
    • Ability to read, write and communicate fluently in the English language
    • Initiative-taking self-starter who can work with minimal supervision
    • A smartphone with internet/data access is required. This position requires the installation and utilization of an app on your smartphone to complete the requirements of the position

    MINIMUM PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

    • Must be able to:
      • remain standing for several hours at a time
      • lift, push or pull 50 lbs. or more on a regular basis and occasionally up to 70 lbs
      • continuously reach up and bend down, kneel, squat, reach in all directions and have unlimited upper and lower body mobility
      • lift and extend 30 lbs. above the head, sometimes repeatedly
      • have unlimited manual dexterity
      • tolerate exposure to extreme temperatures (0-90 degrees)
