Warehouse Associate - Great schedule and pay, including daily incentive pay

• Schedule :
• Order Case Selectors work a 4 / 10 schedule (10 hours a day, 4 days a week). Associates are assigned to a schedule but do NOT rotate shifts.

All associates have either a 3-day or 4-day weekend every other weekend , depending on what schedule they are on.

• Pay :
• The starting pay for Order Case Selectors is $19.00 / hour . Associates get a $.75 raise after 3 months of employment and an additional $.

50, 3 months later for total pay of $20.25 at 6 months . Pay increases are then provided every 6 months thereafter until the top pay is reached in a 3-year period.

In addition to base pay, associates are also eligible to earn an incentive for performing their job successfully. Associates who achieve 100% of the standard for their job daily, receive incentive pay and can receive several dollars an hour over base pay depending on their performance.

• Stay Bonus :
• Order Case Selectors receive a $3,000 stay bonus ($1500 at 120 days and $1500 at 270 days)

Position Summary :

Responsible for filling stores' orders in an accurate, productive and safe manner. The company also requires that all employees perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.

Essential Job Functions :

• Select orders.
• Read order to ascertain item number and quantity of merchandise.
• Build pallets.
• Sort merchandise.
• Obtain merchandise from bins / shelves / pick slots.
• Submit an order to shipping.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum Position Qualifications :

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability and willingness to move with purpose and a strong sense of urgency.
• Ability to work weekends on a frequent basis.
• Ability to work overtime on a regular basis.
• Familiarity with distribution center terms and processes.
• Ability to meet production standards.

Desired Previous Job Experience :

• High school education or general education degree (GED) plus one year experience in work or equivalent combination of education and experience.
