Order Fulfillment Director leads and directs the order fulfillment process. Oversees order entry, administration, and shipping processes. Being an Order Fulfillment Director develops scalable business processes and customer service standards to deliver efficient order processing. Implements order tracking and CRM systems to process orders, maintain customer information, and monitor contracts or agreements for expiration or renewal. Additionally, Order Fulfillment Director establishes inventory monitoring procedures to track and trigger actions that will maintain appropriate levels of products. Partners with stakeholders to identify conditions impacting the fulfillment workflow and to develop effective solutions. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Order Fulfillment Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an Order Fulfillment Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.   • Principle responsibilities:

    We're looking for teammates who share our passion for creating equitable access to nutritious food and addressing the root causes and impact of hunger. The Order Fulfillment position will efficiently pick customer orders for shipment and pickup in accordance with Harvesters' published procedures and measures. Accuracy of all sales orders, picking and inventory documents is essential for this position. You will also assist in resolving any discrepancies. This position requires safely and securely operating and maintaining material handling equipment. It is crucial to maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Harvesters employees conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety and complies with OSHA, MSDS standards, and Harvesters' safety and sanitation policies.

    Other aspects of the job:

    The ability to effectively communicate and interact with coworkers, managers and customers/clients is vital to this role's success. A dedication to the mission and values of Harvesters will help you reach your goals. This position functions in an office and warehouse environment and requires travel within the warehouse areas. It requires the use of general office equipment such as telephone, computers, calculators, fax and copiers and extensive walking across the warehouse and back and forth to the office. It occasionally requires lifting over 50 pounds and lifting of 20 to 50 pounds approximately 75% of the time. You will spend 90% of your time in a warehouse environment and 10% stationary working at a computer terminal. This position requires an understanding of all Harvesters food safety policies and compliance with all food safety related procedures.

    Qualifications:

    • 1-2 years experience in a warehouse
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • High School education or equivalent, including basic math, reading and writing skills.
    • Tolerance of temps from 40 degrees to -10 degrees
    • Basic computer knowledge
    • Ability to be forklift certified
