Order Fulfillment Director leads and directs the order fulfillment process. Oversees order entry, administration, and shipping processes. Being an Order Fulfillment Director develops scalable business processes and customer service standards to deliver efficient order processing. Implements order tracking and CRM systems to process orders, maintain customer information, and monitor contracts or agreements for expiration or renewal. Additionally, Order Fulfillment Director establishes inventory monitoring procedures to track and trigger actions that will maintain appropriate levels of products. Partners with stakeholders to identify conditions impacting the fulfillment workflow and to develop effective solutions. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Order Fulfillment Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an Order Fulfillment Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. The Position
This position is key to achieving our customer service objectives. It will include both quality assurance and ensure fulfillment of customer orders, protecting the company's inventory as well as customer's time and needs. As this position cross-trains and brings value in new areas, there is upward mobility optionality.
Job Duties
- Fulfill customer orders by accurately pulling product by using pick tickets
- Safely and securely pack/palletize products for Will Call pick-up or shipment
- Load/unload customer vehicles and Joval vehicles.
- Must be a dependable person that is self-motivated
- Must have good communication skill
- Must be able to read, write, count, accurately & effectively fill out shipping/receiving paperwork
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Take part in daily order picking
- Take part in daily truck loading
- Be hands on with Joval's customer Will Call program
- Responsible for outbound UPS and Fed Ex shipments, up to and including generating shipping labels
- Must work hand-in-hand with the Shipping Clerk to insure Joval is shipping complete customer orders in a timely manner
- Adhere to all rules, regulations, and procedures outlined in the Joval shipping manual.
- Forklift capability or training could be necessary (Forklift Experience is a plus)
- Help with any of the Joval Team's needs as they arise.
Minimum Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Forklift
- Willing to work shifts and overtime
- Proficiency in reading and writing infographics and detailed instructions and labels
Physical Conditions & Working EnvironmentThis position occasionally must facilitate the transfer of 100 pounds of metal, using a machine assist. Regular transfer of light to heavy metal objects that may have sharp edges from palates to trucks, etc. is required. Bending at the waist and dragging of parts is regularly required. Utilizing a remote to operate a forklift is required. Near-vision to see and distinguish between small-print, long numbers on labels is essential.
Position is constantly inside a semi-open-air warehouse. In the summers there can be high heat, although there are mitigating efforts in place around the warehouse.
