Order Fulfillment Director leads and directs the order fulfillment process. Oversees order entry, administration, and shipping processes. Being an Order Fulfillment Director develops scalable business processes and customer service standards to deliver efficient order processing. SEASONAL FULFILLMENT ASSOCIATE
Summary of Responsibilities:
Rotates in Fulfillment area performing a variety of functions in accordance with established quality, productivity and safety standards.
Primary Duties:
Orderfill
1. Fills orders accurately picking items from shelves and bins while placing in shipping containers on the conveyor.
2. Screens merchandise for damage and follows established procedures for reporting issues. Notes when backorders and cancels are approved and proceeds according to established guidelines.
3. Ability to pack items neatly into proper size cartons putting heavier material in the bottom of the box. Wraps all liquid in plastic bags and seals them. Places label neatly and appropriately on carton.
4. Verifies orders for quantity, colors, units of measure and completeness as required.
5. Notifies Call Down person when merchandise is in a “stock out” position and needs to be replenished; notifies lead orderfiller when the wrong product is in a bin.
6. Knowledge of all packing functions i.e. slow pack and self shipping.
Material Handling
1. Operates Radio Frequency scanner and pallet jacks in accordance with established safety guidelines.
2. Processes and distributes replenishment accurately. Ensures that product is undamaged, in proper unit of measure, and arranged properly on pick-shelf. Reports any damaged product or inventory discrepancies to lead, supervisor or inventory control representative (following established reporting procedures).
3. Uses computer terminal to access product information to ensure that proper shelving is selected.
4. Labels stock accurately in accordance with established labeling guidelines
5. Assists with cleaning and maintenance of Fulfillment area. Responds to any request for assistance from other associates promptly
6. Stocks shelves, racks, and bins at all levels using hand trucks and pallet jacks (when trained in their use). Marks reserve with location information.
7. Keeps aisles clear, orderly and safe while cleaning work area daily.
8. Provides assistance to other associates when asked.
9. Others duties or projects as assigned.
