Balanced Dog Trainer for Rva and surrounding areas.

Training dogs is less of a job and more of a lifestyle. It's not easy and requires hard work, a good attitude, great customer service, constant communication, significant driving, and dedication to the craft. Of course, you must love dogs too!

Minimum Requirements

• Passion for working with Dogs and People.
• Professional appearance.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Must be physically able to bend up and down, lift and carry at least 50 lbs
• Must have a Smartphone.
• Have the willingness and desire to take pictures and videos.
• Work on weekends.
• Run weekend group classes.
• Use food, leashes, and remote collars in training.
• Work with reactive and some aggressive dogs (they need the most help!)
• Adhere to company standards for methods used (tools aren't methods)
• Willingness to adhere to results-based training standards.
• Work unusual hours. This is not a 9-5 position.
• Drive, drive, and when you get done, drive again.

A position is available immediately for an experienced balanced trainer.

We also can accommodate a new apprentice trainer that we will train. That will require a financial contract from you and three to four weeks of training in Powhata. Additional supervised training may be needed at our discretion.

Our trainers usually make between $40,000- $80,000 per year.

Pay: $43,154.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Equine experience: 1 year (Preferred)
