We are seeking a Parts Order Fulfillment Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for performing multifunctional duties in a warehouse environment related to the fulfillment of customer parts orders. Duties will include picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and the re-stocking of parts. Duties may also include operating warehouse equipment and building parts assemblies. The candidate must have the ability to perform all functions and will work from both written and verbal orders.

Job summary

• Monitoring communications regarding incoming and outgoing orders and shipments.
• Working from an order pick list to fill customer part orders from warehouse bins.
• Properly and accurately counting each order before packing the order in a suitable manner. Responsible for completeness and accuracy of orders.
• Tracking and communicating the internal status of all orders from the time of order entry to the completion of shipping.
• Performing tasks necessary for shipping and/or receiving of parts.
• Performing tasks necessary for the receiving of parts. Receiving functions will include but not be limited to: verifying, counting and examining completeness against shipping documents, checking for damaged goods, and keeping records of shortages, exceptions and damage.
• Performing tasks necessary for the shipping of parts. Shipping functions will include but not be limited to: weighing and addressing, attaching postage or creating and attaching bill of lading, and keeping record of goods shipped. Ensuring the shipment is complete and correct prior to shipping, including but not limited to checking the contents of outgoing orders or shipments to see that quantity, quality, labeling, etc. compare with order pick list, and correct any errors which may have been made.
• Preparing and maintaining records of receiving/shipping reports and other related documents.
• Performing all necessary system transactions and making corrections when required.
• Cycle-counting parts and supplies inventory.
• Assist shipping and receiving
• Building parts assemblies as needed for fulfilling orders or maintaining parts stock.
• Operating an electric powered forklift truck to move, stack, and load or unload materials. Work may also include using banding machines.
• Performing other duties and/or projects, as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school graduate, GED, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Experience:

• 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience driving a forklift

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs, reach, bend, squat, kneel and spend majority of the workday walking and standing on a concrete surface.
• Must be able to manipulate small parts

Skills/Capabilities:

• Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
• Proficient using a PC and ability to learn fulfillment software programs.
