Position Title: Order Fulfillment Lead
Status: Full-Time – Non-Exempt
Department: Order Fulfillment
Reports To: Order Fulfillment Manager                    

Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Order Fulfillment Manager and Production Manager the Order Fulfillment Lead performs all the duties necessary to ensure all processes related to packing/shipping orders are done in the proper manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (is not all-inclusive)

• Stage chicks and ensure breeds are labeled properly.
• Ensures the lids are placed on boxes correctly.
• Assistant with printing of box labels.
• Overseeing postal stations are using proper zip codes.
• Check and verify correct breeds are being used.
• Check and verify all necessary services are being completed.
• Check and verify all boxes being strapped correctly.
• Check and verify all labels are on correctly.
• Ensure product waste gets dumped in a timely manner.
• Ensure all equipment is washed and sanitized for the next day's work.
• Directing others and giving task assignments throughout the workday.
• Oversee that chicks are being handled in a safe and humane manner.
• Assist in production as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

• Work is performed in a consistently changing environment – hot and humid to air-conditioned rooms.

• Normal corrective vision range, ability to see color and distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
• Frequently required to stand and walk.
• Requires full range of body motion including handling, lifting, and moving heavy boxes and equipment.
• This position may require heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs.
