Order Fulfillment Manager jobs in Jersey City, NJ

American Wear, with seventy years of successful history, is a fast-growing uniform supply company located in East Orange, NJ. We are expanding our team and are recruiting to add an Order Fulfillment Associate. This person will work with the order fulfillment coordinator to ensure orders are suitably processed and received by direct sales customers. This person will assist with all aspects of direct sales order fulfillment, ensuring the flow of merchandise to customers.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist fulfillment coordinator with all order fulfillment
• Assist with preparing all orders for shipment based on established American Wear procedures
• Check orders to ensure order quantities and items match with customer PO and requests Assist with Package and organize orders once verified
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and efficient handling of inventory
• Assist with managing PO additions and cancellations, delivery tracking and updating price for revisions or adjustments
• Track, detail, and communicate with internal partners and external clients on status of orders Identifies needs, makes recommendations for, and facilitates the procurement of items needed to fulfill direct sales orders
• Collaborates with other departments and staff members to ensure the proper customization of materials ordered Reporting order status to direct sales team, customer service, and appropriate staff members
• Assist customer service representatives with order status inquiries and special customer needs
• Assist with resolving issues that may arise with orders
• Analyze inventory procedures; recommends improvements to direct sales team
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Minimum Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in a shipping warehouse or similar environment preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must be punctual and dependable
• Must have accurate and efficient computer and data entry skills
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Resourceful self-starter, works independently as well as part of a team, and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail required
• Must have good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines while juggling multiple tasks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
• Must be able to work a fast-paced environment with constantly changing demands
• Must be able to stay organized and perform work in a safe and orderly fashion

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking, as well as periods of sitting and working in front of a computer
• May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, and color vision
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
