CTON Mobile Phlebotomists have direct contact with caregivers as well as patients and are called upon to create an atmosphere of competency, trust, and confidence. Phlebotomists must be licensed and follow establish procedures, performing blood draws in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner. Requirements include collection of samples as directed by completed doctor's orders and timely delivering specimen to the laboratory for testing. The phlebotomist also adheres to HIPAA confidentiality and accuracy of documentation. Successful applicants are assigned to work schedules as business needs dictate, shifts could include nights and weekends.
