Organizational Development Consultant implements all aspects of organizational development. Develops training programs, facilitates change management initiatives, and reviews current development programs to ensure linkage to company goals. Being an Organizational Development Consultant builds human capital through employee development programs. Measures employee performance to gauge the success of programs and identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Organizational Development Consultant implements and reports on the effectiveness of leadership development, team development, and organizational communication programs and practices. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Organizational Development Consultant work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.   • Department/Unit: Chief Operations Office Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Salary Range: $71,547.00 - $118,053.00 Dynamic organizational healthcare leader with experience in instructional design, program development, LEAN, and professional development coaching to work with leaders to develop themselves, their teams and manage the business of the healthcare organization to foster the mission and vision of the organization. The Sr. Organizational Development Specialist will work as part of a collaborative team in a highly matrixed organization to meet the strategic priorities of the organization. Responsible for training a diverse population within the healthcare industry. Maintaining data quality review and follow up remediation. Responsible for advancing the vision of Albany Med by conducting learning & development activities which accelerate performance and productivity promote employee engagement, and contribute to the retention of talent. Responsibilities: Proficiency working with learning management systems and online training platforms. Strong knowledge and experience with end-to-end learning process with emphasis on delivery using multiple methodologies. Conducts learning evaluations and provides recommendations for program design changes. Strong communication (verbal, written, presentation); includes the ability to translate complex messages to different audiences. Strong facilitation and training skills in an interdisciplinary environment. Ability to be self-directed in performance of duties Ability to integrate and facilitate cross-functional teams Ability to mentor/coach leaders within the organization Demonstrates project management skills Knowledge and understand of LEAN methodology Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities/ projects to meet deadlines. Highly flexible, adaptable, and resilient in face of change be able to deal with high volume, overlapping, and ambiguous requirements. Presentation and facilitation skills with a natural tendency for collaboration across departments Highly poised and refined interpersonal skills (networks, builds relationships, and collaborates within and across teams). Advanced critical thinking, organization, and planning skills necessary for this role. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development/Leadership, or related field. Master’s degree, preferred. Minimum 5 years experience in a learning & development, organizational development, or related role within the acute healthcare environment. Minimum 5-7 years in acute healthcare leadership role Practical experience using Learning theories, Instructional Design, interactive training and learning design, and e-learning design principles.
