Title: Dynamics 365 Functional Finance Lead

Location: Kenosha, WI (Onsite: 1-3 days/week) | Remote (WFH) with Some travel as per need

Duration: 6 months contract Contract to Hire

Note: The candidate should be fine to work onsite from day one and Onsite 50% of the time, would consider remote but would still need to travel in for big meetings/deadlines. Candidates should be fine to go onsite at their own expense as per the client needs.

Job description:

Our client is looking for a Dynamic 365 Consultant. They are implementing Dynamics 365 and need consultants to support the effort. The go-live is planned for spring 2025. They are currently running JBA/JDA and upgrading to the D365.

Responsibilities:

• Be a functional ERP owner of all finance processes.
• As a Dynamics 365 FINANCE FUNCTIONAL owner, you will be part of team that helps discover and define the problem statements, evaluates the solution options, and makes recommendations.
• You will create detailed design, architecture, and process artifacts, including functional and technical specs, and implement per the plan.
• Coordinates all testing process with business team for test cases and integrations like OANDA and SKGlobal.
• You will also support training and knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding solutions that enable our team to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
• Collaborate with business team members to assist in development of new solutions which solve business challenges.
• Functional skills to manage Requirement gathering and detailing, fitment analysis, functional design, Integration functional testing, manage/support user acceptance testing, Training, and hyper care support.
• Identifies existing inefficiencies, potential improvement opportunities, and critical differentiating business requirements.
• Leads review of all business cases for new features for new Microsoft releases and for internal new requests
• Leads regression testing for new code releases for all things Finance related.
• At least 5 years of experience in D365 FO/AX Finance implementation & support.
• Liaison with business users for new requests, evaluation, and owner of processes related to finance teams.
• Leads regression testing for new code releases for all things Finance.
• Strong interaction skills.
• Working independently and in teams.
• Excellent Analytical and Communication skills.
• Knowledge of OANDA and SKGlobal a plus.
