    Job Summary/Description:

    KBTX Media is growing our elite sales team and is searching for a results-driven individual to join our company! This Business Development Account Executive will be responsible for identifying and developing new revenue on all KBTX platforms. This role will be expected to achieve weekly/monthly/quarterly activity standards designed to help you develop your new business pipeline for long-term revenue potential. Main responsibilities will include prospecting, cold calling, selling marketing solutions customized to each client, account maintenance, and collections. The candidate must have a keen sense of the market.

    Duties/Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

    • Identify, develop, and sell new business consistent with station policies and rate guidelines.
    • Achieve or exceed budget through new business development.
    • Meet weekly/monthly/quarterly activity standards designed to help you develop your new business pipeline.
    • Assist in the production of clients’ campaign elements.
    • Prospect new accounts and create sales opportunities and presentations specific to each new client.
    • Account maintenance and collections

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    • Television and/or digital advertising sales experience preferred.
    • Broad understanding of marketing strategies.
    • Self-starter with the ability to interact and influence others positively while working in a fast-paced atmosphere.
    • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • A strong work ethic with the ability to formulate and execute a daily plan.
    • Exceptional organizational and time management skills will be essential to succeed in this role.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs, and Outlook.
    • Experience with WO Traffic, WO Media Sales, Comscore, and Nielsen a plus.
    • Must meet the Gray Television driving requirements and have a valid driver's license.
