Organizational Development Director directs the design, planning, and implementation of corporate organizational development programs, policies, and procedures. Approves change management initiatives and suggests enhancements to existing programs. Being an Organizational Development Director oversees the development of programs to build human capital and a strong employee development culture. Reviews key performance metrics to enable accurate and valid measurement of workforce performance and to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Organizational Development Director proposes changes to organizational structure to leverage talent and provide development opportunities to key leaders in the organization. Develops systematic collection and evaluation of performance metrics. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Organizational Development Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Organizational Development Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Head Start has an opening for a non-exempt full-time Site Director working 35 hours a week year-round. The Site Director is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the assigned Head Start Center, exercising independent judgment and decision-making authority as delegated, including procedures and staff supervision. Under general supervision, the Site Director operates the Head Start program in conformance with the ACF Head Start Program Performance Standards, State Child Care Licensing, and LHDC Policies and Procedures.  

    Requirements

    Must be a graduate of an accredited college or university with at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Management, Human Resources or correlated discipline; Associate Degree in a related field will be considered if willing to further education. Supervisory experience required. Proficient in computer systems and functions, including Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint), Internet, and email usage. 


    Must meet Head Start and Indiana Child Care Licensing Regulations, including Head Start Standards of Conduct, federal and state criminal history requirements, sex offender registry checks, drug screen, physical, and complete an annual T.B. test.
