Organizational Development Director directs the design, planning, and implementation of corporate organizational development programs, policies, and procedures. Approves change management initiatives and suggests enhancements to existing programs. Being an Organizational Development Director oversees the development of programs to build human capital and a strong employee development culture. Reviews key performance metrics to enable accurate and valid measurement of workforce performance and to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Organizational Development Director proposes changes to organizational structure to leverage talent and provide development opportunities to key leaders in the organization. Develops systematic collection and evaluation of performance metrics. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Organizational Development Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Organizational Development Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Otter Products is looking for an Organizational Development (OD) Program Manager to join our Human Resources (AKA Otter Relations) team in Fort Collins, CO. This position is on a hybrid schedule and can work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.

     

    The Organizational Development (OD) Program Manager serves as a trusted advisor responsible for leading global programs that focus on driving key initiatives throughout the organization. In partnership with business leaders and Human Resources (HR) partners, the OD Program Manager is involved in the design, development, and delivery of various Organizational Development (OD) and Learning and Development (L&D) solutions such as engagement, performance management, talent calibration, facilitating classes and more!

    Responsibilities

    • Partner with Business leaders and HR Partners on issues pertinent to leadership, performance management, engagement, learning & development, and organizational effectiveness in an effort to improve overall organizational performance.
    • Identify opportunities to develop OD solutions that blend organizational effectiveness and talent development to drive improvements in performance, productivity, and culture.
    • Design, develop, and implement the frameworks, tools, and processes to build effective teams and address key business issues. (e.g., core learning programs along with various tools specific to the given situation).
    • Integrate and partner with various departments to provide top-notch learning and development programs to Otters at all levels of the organization.
    • Responsible for assessing organizational needs along with designing and deploying development programs, tools and processes that facilitate improved organizational performance.
    • Partner with HR partners, recruiting team, and organizations leaders to continually build our leadership pipeline to ensure business continuity through succession management, HIPO and leadership development.
    • Provide guidance to business leaders and HR team to ensure the success of all performance management initiatives.
    • Continually, assess the current performance management process, and ensure simplicity and effectiveness.
    • Responsible for the implementation, oversight and analysis of various survey types and methodologies to include lifecycle, onboarding, engagement, exit, etcetera.
    • Develop strategies to promote a culture of excellence and engagement through creative survey design and solutions to sustain/steer the organizational culture.
    • Build data backed executive leadership presentations that are project specific to inform and as needed, gain alignment with recommendations.
    • Serve as functional SME for Learning (Cornerstone) & OD systems (CultureAmp).
    • Support and maintain a positive safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures and actively contributing to a safe working environment.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or experience in lieu of degree required.
    • Minimum six years of organizational development and learning and development experience required.
    • Emergenetics and Situational Leadership program experience preferred.
