Organizational Development Director directs the design, planning, and implementation of corporate organizational development programs, policies, and procedures. Approves change management initiatives and suggests enhancements to existing programs. Being an Organizational Development Director oversees the development of programs to build human capital and a strong employee development culture. Reviews key performance metrics to enable accurate and valid measurement of workforce performance and to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Organizational Development Director proposes changes to organizational structure to leverage talent and provide development opportunities to key leaders in the organization. Develops systematic collection and evaluation of performance metrics. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. Position Summary: Reporting to and in partnership with the Executive Director, the Director of Development will play a crucial role in securing the necessary resources to support our mission of engaging critical stakeholders to end homelessness in Guilford County.
The Director of Development will be responsible for leading and implementing fundraisers, donor campaigns, and development strategies, as well as assisting with forging key partnerships, writing grants. and cultivating a network of supporters to drive sustainable growth and impact. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, a passion for our cause, and a demonstrated track record of successful fundraising and/or grant writing.
