Organizational Development Director directs the design, planning, and implementation of corporate organizational development programs, policies, and procedures. Approves change management initiatives and suggests enhancements to existing programs. Being an Organizational Development Director oversees the development of programs to build human capital and a strong employee development culture. Reviews key performance metrics to enable accurate and valid measurement of workforce performance and to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Organizational Development Director proposes changes to organizational structure to leverage talent and provide development opportunities to key leaders in the organization. Develops systematic collection and evaluation of performance metrics. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Organizational Development Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. We are seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of development director. This person would be responsible for building a development strategy: planning, finding funding sources, soliciting funding from corporations, individuals, churches, foundations, etc, public relations/branding, planning events, and updating the website. He/She would also be involved with the school’s board of directors and giving development reports at meetings, maintaining a social media presence, building information packets, speaking to churches/organizations on behalf of the school, and other development related tasks assigned by the executive director.
