Organizational Development Director directs the design, planning, and implementation of corporate organizational development programs, policies, and procedures. Approves change management initiatives and suggests enhancements to existing programs. Being an Organizational Development Director oversees the development of programs to build human capital and a strong employee development culture. Reviews key performance metrics to enable accurate and valid measurement of workforce performance and to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Organizational Development Director proposes changes to organizational structure to leverage talent and provide development opportunities to key leaders in the organization. Develops systematic collection and evaluation of performance metrics. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Organizational Development Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Organizational Development Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     JOB DESCRIPTION

     

    Summary/Objective

     

    To aid with building, supporting, and improving our Employee Listening program.  The Employee Listening program is designed to enable leadership in our market segments to keep a pulse on their unique culture while developing/assessing programs aimed at curating a one-of-a-kind experience for their employees. This individual will play a vital role in the survey research process by creating, administering, analyzing, and presenting the findings of various surveys.

     

    Job Duties and Responsibilities

     

    • Manage and administer Cellular Sales’ employee listening surveys.
    • Support the logistics of survey projects such as survey distribution, communication, etc.
    • Perform statistical analysis on survey data that provide insights in formats that others can easily understand.
    • Manage qualitative analysis tool (such as Text-IQ within Qualtrics)—organize and categorize opened comments for data visualization and analysis.
    • Maintain survey platform functions and data quality.
    • Collaborate with the team in creating compelling presentations for internal business leaders/stakeholders with survey data.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

    Required Education and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, organizational behavior, statistics, or related field.

    Preferred Education and Experience

    • 2 years of experience conducting survey research in business or academic setting.
    • 2 years of experience using data to tell complex stories in a business or academic setting.
    • Master’s degree in psychology, organizational behavior, statistics, or other related field.

    • Univariate & Multivariate Statistics (Preferred)

    Skills

    • Qualtrics survey software experience preferred, but willing to train the right applicant.
    • Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.).
    • Data Visualization software knowledge (Preferred) (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau).

    Abilities

    • Manage time efficiently with competing priorities in a fast-moving, growing, organization in the competitive retail technology sales industry.
    • Organizational skills such as attention to detail.
    • Manage and maintain large datasets.
