Organizational Development Director directs the design, planning, and implementation of corporate organizational development programs, policies, and procedures. Approves change management initiatives and suggests enhancements to existing programs. Being an Organizational Development Director oversees the development of programs to build human capital and a strong employee development culture. Reviews key performance metrics to enable accurate and valid measurement of workforce performance and to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Organizational Development Director proposes changes to organizational structure to leverage talent and provide development opportunities to key leaders in the organization. Develops systematic collection and evaluation of performance metrics. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Organizational Development Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Organizational Development Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.   • Principle Responsibilities and Duties

    • Strategic asset analysis identifying new and value-add investment opportunities.
    • Ability to understand opportunities to acquire and develop across all major land uses - retail, multi-family, office, warehouse, etc.
    • Ability to discover under-utilized properties in top tier markets with upside through redevelopment.
    • Collaborate with leasing agents and senior executives in establishing merchandising plans for the developments.
    • Build and manage development pro formas. Partner with in-house financial analysts in financial underwriting requirements. Maintain accurate project pro forma, cost and revenue reporting and schedule milestones throughout investment phases.
    • Work with in-house construction personnel through design and construction processes. Assist construction personnel to successfully manage projects through completion.

    Qualifications*

    • 7 plus years of proven shopping center development/redevelopment experience
    • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in related field
    • Background in Planning or Design
    • In depth knowledge of engineering and architectural plans
    • Working knowledge of contract law, zoning law, real estate finance and construction management
    • Strong financial analysis skills
    • Strong management and leadership skills including the ability to motivate and guide a team
    • Must be a motivated, self-starter with ability to productively work in a team environment effectively communicating and sharing information with people in other departments within the company
    • Effective communicator (written and oral) with strong presentation skills
