Organizational Development Director directs the design, planning, and implementation of corporate organizational development programs, policies, and procedures. Approves change management initiatives and suggests enhancements to existing programs. Being an Organizational Development Director oversees the development of programs to build human capital and a strong employee development culture. Reviews key performance metrics to enable accurate and valid measurement of workforce performance and to identify areas for improvement. We are seeking a dynamic project management professional to join our team in Blacksburg office as our Director of Land Development. This role provides oversight for project teams, conducts business development initiatives to help maintain a steady backlog of work, and helps our marketing division prepare and submitt proposals as needed. The Director manages workflow, ensuring all production staff members are being utilized to their fullest potential by directing work pipelines to prevent bottlenecks and ensure business continutiy. This role will also engage in targeted business development campaigns, and will serve as a mentor to our interns, designers and engineers.

For this role, we require a minimum of 7 years' professional experience, with a valid PE license. We also require at least a minimum of an undergraduate degree in civil engineering from accredited academic institution. Professional experience in managing teams in a consulting engineering environment is required, as is strong working knowledge of land/site development concepts. We prefer a candidate who can demonstrate their ability to both maintian current client relationships and build new ones.
