Organizational Development Director directs the design, planning, and implementation of corporate organizational development programs, policies, and procedures. Approves change management initiatives and suggests enhancements to existing programs. Being an Organizational Development Director oversees the development of programs to build human capital and a strong employee development culture. Reviews key performance metrics to enable accurate and valid measurement of workforce performance and to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Organizational Development Director proposes changes to organizational structure to leverage talent and provide development opportunities to key leaders in the organization. Develops systematic collection and evaluation of performance metrics. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Organizational Development Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.     Titan Development and Affiliates, a leading real estate and property management firm, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Facilities Director to join our team. This pivotal role oversees all aspects of facilities management for over 30 buildings in the Rochester, MN area. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader capable of managing a diverse team of 22 professionals, ensuring operational excellence, and upholding the integrity of our property portfolio.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead, mentor, and expand a dedicated team of facilities professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and high performance.
    • Operate with campus-style management, with a drive to improve and develop strategies for effective cross-utilization of the spaces and resources across different buildings, promoting efficiency, flexibility, and adaptability in facility usage.
    • Oversee the maintenance, safety, and efficiency of more than 30 buildings, ensuring they meet all operational standards and regulatory requirements by focusing on cross-utilization of resources.
    • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs to enhance the skills of new and existing staff, promoting internal growth and expertise.
    • Manage and streamline procurement processes, ensuring cost-effective acquisition of goods and services while maintaining quality standards.
    • Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities to ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
    • Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic plans for the enhancement, refurbishment, and long-term sustainability of properties.
    • Implement innovative solutions for energy management, waste reduction, and sustainability to improve operational efficiency and environmental stewardship.
    • Develop and manage the annual facilities budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and cost control across the campus of buildings.
    • Serve as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding facilities management issues, fostering strong relationships and ensuring consistent communication.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is desired.
    • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory standards, including OSHA, ERTKA, FDA, ADA, and other relevant federal, state, and local regulations, ensuring all facilities adhere to legal and safety requirements.
    • A minimum of 7 years of experience in facilities management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing multiple properties.
    • Proven track record of managing large teams and developing staff.
    • Strong operational and strategic planning skills, with the ability to balance day-to-day operational priorities with long-term strategic objectives.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining positive relationships with team members, stakeholders, and vendors.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of building systems, procurement procedures, and best practices in facilities management.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, forecast expenses, and provide financial reports.
    • Commitment to excellence, quality, and safety in facilities management.
