Organizational Development Director directs the design, planning, and implementation of corporate organizational development programs, policies, and procedures. Approves change management initiatives and suggests enhancements to existing programs. Being an Organizational Development Director oversees the development of programs to build human capital and a strong employee development culture. Reviews key performance metrics to enable accurate and valid measurement of workforce performance and to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Organizational Development Director proposes changes to organizational structure to leverage talent and provide development opportunities to key leaders in the organization. Develops systematic collection and evaluation of performance metrics. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Organizational Development Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Organizational Development Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Qualification/Responsibilities:

    • Ability to travel and work throughout the area of assignment
    • Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment
    • Must have, as a minimum, two (2) year of recent experience in a Director of Nursing role in a nursing care facility or the similar
    • Previous Long Term Care Experience is strongly preferred
    • Understand federal, state and rules and regulations, and survey practices in your assigned area
    • Organize, develop and direct the overall operations of the Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the facility
    • Work directly with the Administrator and the Medical Director to ensure the highest degree of quality of care is maintained for each resident at all times.
    • History of excellent quality and survey outcome
