Organizational Development Director directs the design, planning, and implementation of corporate organizational development programs, policies, and procedures. Approves change management initiatives and suggests enhancements to existing programs. Being an Organizational Development Director oversees the development of programs to build human capital and a strong employee development culture. Reviews key performance metrics to enable accurate and valid measurement of workforce performance and to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Organizational Development Director proposes changes to organizational structure to leverage talent and provide development opportunities to key leaders in the organization. Develops systematic collection and evaluation of performance metrics. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Organizational Development Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Widener University's Center for Extended Learning is currently seeking highly qualified adjunct faculty to teach in the Organizational Development & Leadership BS & MA program.
Part-time adjunct faculty may instruct 1 or 2 courses each semester on an "as needed" basis.
Courses available for adjunct staffing are offered in online, hybrid and evening formats.
Adjunct faculty are expected to teach to the designated syllabus, provide support and guidance to students; facilitate on-line or campus based courses and respond to student needs in a timely fashion; develop strategies to teach the course for the entire semester or session, use the course syllabus, objectives, and curriculum; meet the university's academic standards; organize and prepare course materials for facilitation; utilize educational technology to engage students and enhance learning; connect students' current study to real-world applications; demonstrate consistency and fairness in the preparation and grading of assignments; provide timely feedback to students; maintain students' grade book and complete final grades by the deadline.
