Organizational Development Manager manages all aspects of organizational development. Oversees the development of training programs, facilitation of change management initiatives, and review of current development programs to ensure linkage to company goals. Being an Organizational Development Manager develops programs to build human capital and a strong employee development culture. Facilitates the development and implementation of employee performance measurements to gauge the success of programs and identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Organizational Development Manager assesses leadership development, team development, and organizational communication programs and practices. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Organizational Development Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Organizational Development Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Additionally, strong oral and written communication skills are a must.   

     

    Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    Responsibilities:

        • Confers with clients/end-users on solution, offers beneficial alternatives, and acts as trusted advisor.
        • Delivers total solution to client/end-user. Develops and reviews project plan.
        • Determines key objectives, milestones, time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
        • Confers with project staff to outline project plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
        • Integrates the implementation process to maximize resource utilization and client/end-user satisfaction.
        • Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed standards.
        • Tracks, follows up, and supports all requests through to completion, advising all involved parties when a request is complete.
        • Understanding of Project and Program Management principles and techniques.
        • Ability to manage change and engage team members.
        • Ability to provide direction and leadership to others.
        • Manage and track project risks and mitigations to reduce or eliminate impacts. 
        • Implement and utilize project performance metrics for decision making and performance improvements. 
        • Facilitation and communication skills.
        • Presentation skills.
        • Ability to manage and resolve client issues.

    Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):

    • Qualifications:
      • Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
      • Tech-Savvy
      • Communication Skills
      • Outstanding working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes.
      • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field and/or other related discipline with a minimum of fifteen (15) years management experience.
      • Experience with MS Office.
