Organizational Development Manager manages all aspects of organizational development. Oversees the development of training programs, facilitation of change management initiatives, and review of current development programs to ensure linkage to company goals. Being an Organizational Development Manager develops programs to build human capital and a strong employee development culture. Facilitates the development and implementation of employee performance measurements to gauge the success of programs and identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Organizational Development Manager assesses leadership development, team development, and organizational communication programs and practices. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Organizational Development Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Organizational Development Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Senior Program Manager/ Organizational Lead

    i3 is hiring a motivated, results-oriented Senior Program MAnager/Organizational Lead in the Training Aids, Devices, Simulations, and Simulators (TADSS) Portfolio with a passion for training. In this position you will be responsible for cost, schedule, and performance of i3 Virtual Training, Simulation, and Gaming (VTSG) on US Air Force training applications, interactive multimedia instruction (IMI) technology. The candidate for this position should have a strong background in project management, managing/leading creative teams, and interfacing/briefing Corporate Executives and customers. You should have knowledge of the Air Force Acquisition Process, Air Force Special Programs Office (SPO) funding channels and be highly familiar with the USAF structure.

    Responsibilities

    The ideal candidate provides on-site customer interaction, evaluates government furnished information (GFI), and leads the development of courseware design documentation. You will lead daily tasks and work with government customers, support contractors and Team i3 Project and Functional Leads to ensure compliance with project management plans and integrated master schedules.

     

    Other responsibilities include:

    • Lead an organization of 40 team members with 7 direct reports.
    • Manage project costs and schedules, generation, and explanation of reports to provide updates to management and Government Customers.
    • Oversee and provide direction to Project Leads in the conduct of activities associated with administering and managing software development using AGILE\SCRUM methodologies.
    • Provide oversight and direction to Project Leads across multiple projects as it pertains to project plans, controls, coordination, and evaluation.
    • Ensure proper performance occurs for quality control of processes and products produced by the Technical, Requirements, and Analysis Teams.
    • Review, write, interpret, and analyze technical documentation related to the development and implementation of requirements.

    Qualifications

    Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent military experience.
    • Minimum of 15 years leadership experience - either leading functional teams or projects
    • Experience working with USAF Major Commands: ACC, AFSOC, AETC, and ANG.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to support senior leadership with memorandums, information papers, white papers, briefings, and similar correspondence.
    • Up to 15% travel required.
    • U.S. citizenship required.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain active DoD Secret Security Clearance.

     

    Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:

    • Graduate of the USAF Weapons Instructor Course.
    • Experience with Agile Methodology.
    • Experience leading software development teams.
    • AFLCMC SPO experience.
