Organizational Development Manager manages all aspects of organizational development. Oversees the development of training programs, facilitation of change management initiatives, and review of current development programs to ensure linkage to company goals. Being an Organizational Development Manager develops programs to build human capital and a strong employee development culture. Facilitates the development and implementation of employee performance measurements to gauge the success of programs and identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Organizational Development Manager assesses leadership development, team development, and organizational communication programs and practices. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Organizational Development Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Organizational Development Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Crisis Case Manager

  • Center for Human Development, Inc. is seeking a full time Crisis Case Manager to respond to crisis situations in the community.  Conduct crisis assessments and prepare safety plans, arrange hospitalization, provide resources, and care coordination direct services.  Testify in civil commitment proceedings as appropriate.  Respond to crisis situations in the community and the emergency department.

     

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

      • Responsibility for providing crisis coverage including occasional after-hours coverage.
      • Respond to requests for behavioral health crises that occur in the community and a collaborate with all involved parties to resolve these crises.
      • Coordinate response with law enforcement, hospital staff, CHD staff, and family members and/or significant others to resolve the crisis.
      • Work with QMHP on Mental health Director’s Designee to conduct Pre-commitment and commitment functions.
      • Coordinate discharge planning activities for individuals in state hospital and other residential settings. 
      • Coordinating placements for inpatient psychiatric facilities both involuntary and voluntary.
      • Provide clinical services such as crisis mental health assessments and safety planning using trauma informed services to minimize trauma in all patients.  
      • Provide proactive outreach with persons who are at high risk for crisis and developing alternatives to hospitalizations and ensuring the least restrictive levels of care.
      • Responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships with community partners such as Grande Ronde Hospital, local and state law enforcement, courts, public schools, etc.  
      • Deliver medications to clients as needed
      • Conduct regular scheduled check-ins with high risk/crisis clients.
      • Checking on clients as per the safety plans
      • Direct clients to community resources and assist with systems navigation.
      • Maintain accurate clinical documentation within 24 hours or as soon as possible.
      • Must maintain punctual and regular work attendance
      • Must have the ability to maintain positive and professional working relationships with co-workers, clients and other agencies
      • Other duties as assigned.


      EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor’s degree in a social sciences field; or two years of relevant mental health experience. CADC or willingness to pursue certification. Must qualify as a Qualified Mental Health Associate. Must pass all criminal history check requirements as required by ORS 181.536-181.537 and in accordance with OAR 407-007-0200-407-007-0370 and drug screening. Must possess a valid Oregon Driver’s license and be insurable for client service purposes, travel between business offices, and to attend required meeting and/or trainings.
