Organizational Development Manager manages all aspects of organizational development. Oversees the development of training programs, facilitation of change management initiatives, and review of current development programs to ensure linkage to company goals. Being an Organizational Development Manager develops programs to build human capital and a strong employee development culture. Facilitates the development and implementation of employee performance measurements to gauge the success of programs and identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Organizational Development Manager assesses leadership development, team development, and organizational communication programs and practices. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Organizational Development Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. Under the direction of the Executive Director/Vice President of Organizational Development and Administration (ED/VP), the Administrative Assistant (AA) provides administrative support to the ED/VP in managing the department’s initiatives, strategies, results, priorities, goals, and opportunities. In addition, this position provides support to Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Risk Management, Training and Development, and Environmental, Health and Safety functions within the department.
The AA is a member of a critical cross-departmental Administrative Coordinating Team (ACT), comprised of executive assistants and administrative professionals, whose mission is to improve efficiency and communication across the organization.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
At least three years of increasingly responsible professional experience in a clerical role is required, experience in an executive or legal assistant position is a plus. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree would be considered. Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, labor relations, or other related field preferred.
Salary range: $59,808 - $80,741 per year (Depending on Experience)
Actual compensation packages consider a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and agency needs. At Long Beach Transit compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each role and it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range.
