Organizational Development Manager manages all aspects of organizational development. Oversees the development of training programs, facilitation of change management initiatives, and review of current development programs to ensure linkage to company goals. Being an Organizational Development Manager develops programs to build human capital and a strong employee development culture. Facilitates the development and implementation of employee performance measurements to gauge the success of programs and identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Organizational Development Manager assesses leadership development, team development, and organizational communication programs and practices. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Organizational Development Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Organizational Development Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Position Summary:

    Under the supervision of the Software Director, responsible for all aspects of software development concerning one or more product lines.

    Responsibilities

    Key Accountabilities

    Essential Functions:

    • Oversees Software development and Software reuse across different Software pro­ jects, for all Software deliverables and throughout the entire development cycle.
    • Overall resource and development role allocation across projects based on project milestones and resource availability.
    • Ensures that all software development activities and deliverables comply with FDA QSR, ISO 9001, IEC 62304 and satisfy IL processes and procedures.
    • Defines consistent software development methods and procedures across projects and ensures they are properly documented (e.g. SOPs) and implemented.
    • Responsible for managing continuous software development improvement efforts to continually shorten development cycles and improve quality.
    • Oversees harmonization and implementation of Cyber Security Requirements.
    • Responsible for harmonizing how Software Architecture is managed, composed, documented, and implemented across products.
    • Responsible for the harmonization and enabling of Remote and Digital Services (e.g. SW Update, Logging, Data availability, Service and Production Tools).
    • Responsible for harmonization of the technical aspects that are common across prod­ucts (e.g., Connectivity, Configuration, Translation).
    • Oversees and drives consistent use of the Software Platform across multiple product lines and business units.
    • Oversees and ensures consistent shared application of technology, architecture, and design practices across programs.
    • Oversees strategy for software requirements generation and organization and ensu­res requirements are consistent across all products.
    • Defines development deliverables and templates across projects and ensures related artifacts are properly scheduled, implemented, and reviewed.
    • Leads software risk analysis and ensures that risk mitigations at software level are effectively documented and implemented.
    • Status reporting and detailed scheduling supporting different product development projects, delegating technical leads as needed.
    • Mentors and trains other team members to ensure consistent and distributed kno­wledge of technology, design, and implementation practices.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Knowledge & Experience Required for the Position:

    • Bachelor's degree in information technology or the equivalent combination of related training, proficiency, and experience.
    • Minimum 5 years of industry experience managing software development teams and leading software projects.
    • Exposure to medical devices and/or highly regulated industry domain.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of software development theory, practice, strategies, and tactics required.
    • Knowledge of and experience with iterative and waterfall software development lifecycle methodologies required.
    • Experience with test-driven development, continuous Integration, and other agile practices.
    • Knowledge of and experience with technologies supporting software development management, Design Control, Requirements Management Issue Management, and configuration management
    • Comprehensive knowledge of Quality standards such as ISO 9000/9001, 21 CFR Part 820 FDA Quality System Regulations and CFR 21 Part 11 regulations.
