Organizational Development Manager manages all aspects of organizational development. Oversees the development of training programs, facilitation of change management initiatives, and review of current development programs to ensure linkage to company goals. Being an Organizational Development Manager develops programs to build human capital and a strong employee development culture. Facilitates the development and implementation of employee performance measurements to gauge the success of programs and identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Organizational Development Manager assesses leadership development, team development, and organizational communication programs and practices. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Organizational Development Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Organizational Development Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. This highly visible role requires frequent communication with senior leadership and nimbly switch between strategic and tactical initiatives to achieve technical, business, and customer experience goals. The ability to translate high-level technical requirements into executable project plans is essential.

    Role Requirements:
    • BSc Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
    • Experience in Agile/SCRUM enterprise-scale software development
    • Strong knowledge of OOP principles
    • Familiar with HTTP protocol and RESTful APIs
    • Knowledge of responsive web development experience
    • Experience writing and optimizing native JavaScript (ECMAScript6 )
    • Practical experience with TDD, and modern testing methodology
    • At least 7 years of commercial software development experience
    • At least 3 years managing a development team
    • Experience with one or more UI frameworks: React, Angular, Vue
    • Working understanding of relational database and No-SQL database concepts
    • Experience building scalable web applications built around the micro-services architecture
    • Exceptional writing and communication skills
    • Experience leading a team of developers
    • Building effective working relationships with the technical leadership team and organization
    Preferred Skills:
    • Java Servlets, and J2EE frameworks such as Spring MVC, Struts 1.x/2.x.
    • Node.JS / Express.JS middleware and micro-services
    • Docker containerization, Kubernetes
    • Apache, Nginx, Tomcat 8.x
    • 2 years database experience with Oracle 11g and PL/SQL
    • 2 years NoSQL experience with one of Couchbase, Hbase, InfluxDB, Mongo
    • Testing frameworks including Selenium, JUnit, Mocha, Jest, Karma/Protractor
    • Cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, Azure
    • Eclipse IDE, IntelliJ, WebStorm
    • GIT, or similar distributed source control with Mercurial, Subversion, etc.
    • Familiarity with Linux/Unix and scripting
    • Implementation of a TICK / TIG stack in a production environment
    • JSON, XML/XSD, SOAP

    Work Environment:
    This job is currently offering Remote and Hybrid work settings.

    Physical Demands:
    Requires sitting or standing at a computer desk for extended periods of time.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
    This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
