We have a great opportunity for an Organizational Development Manager, who will manage, design, and implement organizational development policies and procedures to facilitate initiatives that enhance Aqua America's organizational effectiveness. This role will facilitate implementation of appropriate change management initiatives to effectively facilitate change and organizational performance. Additionally, the successful incumbent will develop, implement, and evaluate company-wide strategic, scalable organizational development solutions, including leadership development, performance management, succession planning, workforce development, organizational effectiveness and organizational design.
Essential Duties:
Serve as thought leader/contributor on suite of enterprise-wide leadership development, team development and organizational development practices by developing a strong vision and strategy for talent management
Develop and deploy organizational development programs, priorities and resource allocation in the areas of organizational design, talent development, leadership development, and employee engagement
Build strategic partnerships with the HR Business Partners and Business Leaders as a Talent Lead to provide support, coaching and consulting
Lead the HR business partner team in annual HR talent management processes including succession planning, talent review, and performance management
Conduct analysis and prepares insightful presentations of organizational/workforce information to support recommendations for change and development
Provide organizational development consultation and design for key organizational initiatives in the areas of organizational design, team development, and cultural diagnosis/engagement
Develop and implement communication and change plans to support organizational, leadership, and talent programs
Select and/or design and develop appropriate interventions for team development and effectiveness
Organizes, documents and improves talent management processes and resources on an ongoing basis
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
BA/BS Degree Required (Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, Education or related field)
8 Years of Related Experience
2 or More Years of Management Experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Advanced ability to use Microsoft Office suite: Word PowerPoint Excel and other technologies applicable to job.
Experience and knowledge in the design, development and delivery of learning solutions including e-learning.
Strategic thinker with ability to develop and apply creative solutions to organizational challenges
Demonstrated experience for organization design, organization effectiveness, and leadership development
Excellent consulting, problem solving, and analytical skills
Ability to drive programmatic initiatives
Excellence and experience in facilitation skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and partnership focus. Proven ability to build relationships, trust, and rapport, as well as impact, influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization including senior executive relationships
Communication requires negotiation and explanation to gain acceptance of ideas and proposed actions.
