The Regional Professional Development (PD) Specialist, under the direction of the Training Office Lead, helps support the goals of the IdahoSTARS project with delivery of early childhood professional development opportunities that are equitable, research-based, and demonstrate best-practices for child care providers serving children birth to 12 years old in Idaho.
The Regional PD Specialist is responsible for delivering professional development opportunities, developing early childhood curriculum and technical assistance modules, and training staff and trainers on developed materials. This position is contingent upon the continuation of work and/or funding.
