Fund Development Specialist
  • Mainstream Nonprofit Solutions Inc.
  • Topeka, KS FULL_TIME
  • Description

****Average salary is $60,465.60 (including wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, shift differential, etc.)****

****This position has remote capabilities for anyone in hiring area****

Are you looking for a hybrid/remote job?

Do you want to be part of an organization with high values and that is devoted to the strength of family? Mainstream Nonprofit Solutions has the job for you!

We are looking for a full-time Fund Development Specialist to add to our team!  All you need is a bachelor’s degree and two years of fund development, sales, community engagement, or other externally focused capacity experience. We will teach you the rest!

A Day in The Life as a Fund Development Specialist

In this role, you will spend your time building relationships both inside and outside of the agency. It could look like attending a community event in communities where we serve families, visiting a TFI office to learn more about our programs in the area, or visiting with a potential funder at a company or foundation. As a Fund Development Specialist, you will be the lead on fundraising events - coordinating internal parties and building relationships with current and potential sponsors. Grant writing is an opportunity for someone with the right skills and will be a part of the role at a minimum in the short term, possibly long-term if it's a strength.  Fund Development Specialists support the organization by creating connections in the community and are supported by working as part of a team and with a manager eager to help you succeed and learn from each other.

    What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is interested in people and enjoys interacting with them. Being a problem solver and finding a way where both parties can win is a must. No need to have experience in child welfare but a passion for helping kids who are less fortunate is a must.  We want someone who has a desire to grow, learn, and build healthy working relationships! Are you great at connecting with people, finding a way to work together on a shared interest, and being self-motivated? Then you could be the person we are looking for.

Why you should work for Mainstream Nonprofit Solutions

We offer a wide variety of benefits, including flexible scheduling! We also provide you with 20 days of personal leave in your first year of employment and 25 days after completion of year one as well as 12 paid holidays! We offer a longevity bonus and tuition reimbursement!  As an added bonus, you get to work with a FANTASTIC team who are all dedicated to the mission and vision by being devoted to the strength of family and to be nationally recognized for excellence in service, education and advocacy.

If you want to make a difference in the lives of families, join our team today!

TFI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
