This is an Sr R&D Process Development Engineer - Fluorocarbon Process role for leading process development and improvement to support new product commercialization and productivity improvement projects for Honeywell’s Advanced Materials. The position will be based in Buffalo NY, USA.
The salary range for this position is $105,000 - $157,000. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:
• Lead comprehensive process development initiatives, demonstrating expertise in both Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.
• Coordinate diverse functions within the Research and Development (R&D) department, overseeing tasks such as the design and construction of process development scale equipment, supervision of technical staff, analytical requirements, physical property measurements, and the collection/reporting of experimental results.
• Take a pivotal role in advancing manufacturing technologies for inorganic molecules, particularly Li battery salts.
• Collaborate with engineers in Manufacturing and Engineering departments to drive cost reduction initiatives and enhance technology for existing fluorocarbon manufacturing processes.
• Develop manufacturing technologies and build patent portfolios to safeguard innovations.
