Organizational Psychologist studies and assesses the organizations workforce, management, culture, business objectives, and challenges using psychological principles and research methods. Designs and develops programs and tools that will be appropriate for the needs of the organization and which will assist employees and management to better achieve desired goals. Being an Organizational Psychologist utilizes various methods including employee surveys, focus groups, skill assessments, performance appraisals, and other feedback mechanisms to assist management in identifying issues and driving improvements. Creates solutions and programs that may be focused on employee selection, job training, leadership training, workplace and family issues, and change management. Additionally, Organizational Psychologist requires a master's degree in industrial/organizational psychology. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Organizational Psychologist works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. Description of Duties:
The primary role and responsibility of the OCM Analyst is to schedule, plan, and execute project-level change strategies, including the measurement of change readiness and long-term sustainability. You will work closely with project managers, business relationship managers, risk managers, application development teams, quality assurance teams, and other technology partners.
The Analyst will develop and implement testing, communication, training strategies, and deliverables. Possess in depth knowledge of each line of business to anticipate necessary changes in related to training, communications, stakeholder buy-in, behavioral change to facilitate successful implementation of software applications and systems.
Must be detail-oriented and have strong analytical, communication and collaboration skills.
Essential Functions:
· Serves as overall OCM point of contact and subject matter expert to the ERP Upgrade Project.
• Implement an established and structured change management approach and methodology for the people side change caused by projects and change efforts.
· Partner with Business, IT, and system integrator on all change management activities for lifecycle of the ERP Upgrade Project
· Conduct readiness assessments, change impact assessments, evaluate results, and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner.
· Develop a set of actionable and targeted change management plans - including communication plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan and resistance management plan.
· Support the execution of plans by employee-facing managers and business leaders.
· Provide active and visible coaching to executive leaders who are change sponsors.
· Create and manage measurement systems to track adoption, utilization, assessing training effectiveness, and proficiency of individual changes.
· Identify resistance and performance gaps, and work to develop and implement corrective actions.
· Creates a weekly executive summary of all project statuses including highlights for leaderships attention. Generates high-quality, tailored reports and analysis to inform the decision making of senior leadership.
· Create and enable reinforcement mechanisms and celebrations of success.
· Work with project teams to integrate change management activities into the overall project plan.
· Work with communication, training, and HR specialists in the formulation of plans and activities to support project implementation.
· Develops content for dissemination to non-technical users.
· Provides project teams and users with documentation based on industry best practices to improve understanding of technical changes.
· Provides project teams with coaching and guidance based on industry best practices to improve cross-functional coordination and communication during project execution.
· Leads project team in identifying training needs which Includes initial training for new users, training on new processes or training to groups on specific functionality, etc.
Desired Skillset
The selected candidate must possess and demonstrate the following:
• Working knowledge of OCM methodologies such as PROSCI which includes development of such deliverables as Stakeholder Analysis, Change Impact Analysis, and Communications Assessments.
• In addition to analysis, assessments and change strategies the resource will have experience developing work products such as change management plans, communications plans, and training plans. Execution of plans and work products is expected with stakeholder engagement and end-user adoption critical to success and measured through metrics and reporting (created by the OCM Analyst).
• Experience in establishing KPIs and other measurement techniques and models.
• Experience on large Information Technology efforts with company-wide impact.
• Excellent project management skills, and experience in program and office operations.
• Experience and demonstrated success with change management through metrics, preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication, presentation skills.
• Must be Proficient with MS PowerPoint, SharePoint, MS Teams, etc.
