Organizational Psychologist studies and assesses the organizations workforce, management, culture, business objectives, and challenges using psychological principles and research methods. Designs and develops programs and tools that will be appropriate for the needs of the organization and which will assist employees and management to better achieve desired goals. Being an Organizational Psychologist utilizes various methods including employee surveys, focus groups, skill assessments, performance appraisals, and other feedback mechanisms to assist management in identifying issues and driving improvements. Creates solutions and programs that may be focused on employee selection, job training, leadership training, workplace and family issues, and change management. Additionally, Organizational Psychologist requires a master's degree in industrial/organizational psychology. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Organizational Psychologist works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. Advanced Counseling and Testing Solutions (ACTS) is seeking a talented Licensed Psychologist to join our dynamic team of clinicians in our Wyomissing office. Wyomissing location is the smaller of our two practices, but has a personable feel and highly qualified staff of support professionals.
ACTS is an expanding privately-owned outpatient practice committed to providing high quality, compassionate, and effective evaluations and therapeutic treatments. We proudly have served the Lancaster and Berks County Communities for 10 years and have connections with a plethora of stakeholders.
We are seeking a highly talented outpatient Licensed Psychologist interested in joining a collegial team of clinicians. We currently provide a range of outpatient behavioral health services, including counseling/psychotherapy, psychological, educational and neuropsychological evaluations, and neurofeedback. We are in search of individuals who possess a passion for helping others, commitment to excellence and teamwork, self driven and autonomous, while being able to follow our processes and adhere to ethical principles.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Ph.D. or Psy.D.
* Fully licensed in PA
* Experienced with conducting initial evaluations and evidenced based treatment
*Preference given to those with training in psychological and/or neuropsychological testing
CLEARANCES:
PA Child Abuse, Criminal Background Check Act 34 and 151 Clearances; Mandated and Permissive Reporting in Pennsylvania are required.
Compensation:
This position offers a highly competitive salary (based on experience).
