Organizational Psychologist studies and assesses the organizations workforce, management, culture, business objectives, and challenges using psychological principles and research methods. Designs and develops programs and tools that will be appropriate for the needs of the organization and which will assist employees and management to better achieve desired goals. Being an Organizational Psychologist utilizes various methods including employee surveys, focus groups, skill assessments, performance appraisals, and other feedback mechanisms to assist management in identifying issues and driving improvements. Creates solutions and programs that may be focused on employee selection, job training, leadership training, workplace and family issues, and change management. Additionally, Organizational Psychologist requires a master's degree in industrial/organizational psychology. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Organizational Psychologist works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.     Contract: 6 Month Contract (Extension likely OR direct hire possibility) 

    Schedule: 100% Remote (40 hours/week, M-F)

    Compensation: $79.26/HR

    Description: Step into the dynamic role of Organizational Change Manager where you'll play a pivotal part in orchestrating the successful implementation of transformative changes across our enterprise. Your primary focus will be to ensure that our organization navigates change with agility and efficiency, driving higher proficiency and faster adoption among our diverse audiences. Leveraging your extensive expertise in change management principles and methodologies, honed over a decade of hands-on experience, you'll lead the charge in executing comprehensive change management activities. From developing robust communication strategies to conducting impact analyses and readiness assessments, you'll meticulously craft plans that empower stakeholders and teams to embrace change effectively. Your proficiency in creating executive-level presentations tailored for board-level audiences will be instrumental in articulating the vision and benefits of our initiatives, fostering buy-in at all levels of the organization. Moreover, as a seasoned change management professional, you'll be adept at developing actionable deliverables across the five key levers of change management: communication plans, stakeholder engagement strategies, sponsorship roadmaps, adoption plans, and resistance management strategies. Your ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes and deliver targeted training will ensure that our teams are equipped with the necessary knowledge and resources to thrive in the face of change. Additionally, your experience in leading enterprise-wide change initiatives, particularly within the realm of IT infrastructure, applications, PMO processes, or governance changes, will be invaluable as we embark on our journey of organizational transformation.

     

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Implement organizational change management activities and initiatives
    • Develop (and guide development of) communications to help with stakeholder awareness and adoption
    • Build change capability through knowledge transfer activities.
    • Create communication plans and stakeholder strategy for enterprise-level initiatives
    • Lead change management activities applying structured methodology, training strategy, assessing change impact, user readiness, and communication strategy.
    • Conduct impact analysis with key stakeholders, conduct readiness assessment, identify gaps, and develop a plan to address them.
    • Define, measure, and report success metrics and change efforts.
    • Self-motivated, self-driven, and willing to take on related responsibilities, as needed.

     

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree with 10 years relevant experience leading changes in organization stemming from the changes to IT infrastructure, Applications, PMO processes or Governance changes
    • PROSCI certification
    • Demonstrable 10 years relevant experience in implementing OCM for enterprise-wide initiatives
    • Experience and knowledge of change management principles and methodologies
    • Experience in creating content for OCM initiatives for communication
    • Create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, stakeholder engagement plans, sponsor roadmap, adoption plan, training plan, resistance management plan
    • Manage stakeholder engagement and trainings
    • Substantial experience and proven track record with large scale enterprise change adoption impacting people and enterprise exhibiting a solid understanding of the change lifecycle and how people adopt change
