Organizational Psychologist studies and assesses the organizations workforce, management, culture, business objectives, and challenges using psychological principles and research methods. Designs and develops programs and tools that will be appropriate for the needs of the organization and which will assist employees and management to better achieve desired goals. Being an Organizational Psychologist utilizes various methods including employee surveys, focus groups, skill assessments, performance appraisals, and other feedback mechanisms to assist management in identifying issues and driving improvements. Creates solutions and programs that may be focused on employee selection, job training, leadership training, workplace and family issues, and change management. Additionally, Organizational Psychologist requires a master's degree in industrial/organizational psychology. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Organizational Psychologist works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. Organizational Rep Payee & Marketing Outreach Coordinator

  • The Organizational Rep Payee has the primary responsibility for the Social Security Representative Payee duties of the agency, following the Social Security Administrations guidelines. This position will assist individuals in budgeting, planning and expenditures of their personal Social Security funds.
    The Marketing & Outreach Coordinator drives the Agency’s fundraising and outreach efforts to secure the resources needed to advance the organization’s work. The Marketing & Outreach Coordinator reports to the CFO/Assistant Executive Director and performs day-to-day activities to build and maintain sustainable revenue in partnership wit donors, foundations, corporate partners, and the federal government. The Marketing & Outreach Coordinator works closely with management and staff, Finance and Administration and other departments as needed.

    Organizational Rep Payee:
    • Implement and enforce all quality policies and procedures as it is involved with this position.
    • Prepare bank reconciliations for CILA residents and ensure accuracy of accounts.
    • Work with Social Security representatives in completing a successful Representative Payee Audit.
    • Ensure that individuals are informed of the expenditures of funds and how they may access his/her funds.
    • Prepare budget with individual based on monthly bills and needs.
    • Maintain a register on all transactions involving Social Security Funds.
    • Maintain a checks disbursement log on all checks written to the individual.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.
    Marketing & Outreach Coordinator:
    • Implement fundraising activities:
      • Use ethical fundraising principles.
      • Oversee the planning and execution of fundraising events specified in Agency’s development plan.
    • Manage all deadlines, workflows, and project plans for fundraising activities, including:
    • Internal timelines for collection of information.
    • Timely completion schedules.
    • Projection of successful achievement of funding requests.
    • Participate in the planning and coordination of creative, strategic, and meaningful appeals, campaigns, and activities to engage new and existing donors both online and in-person.
    • Understand all aspects of the Agency’s Mission.
    • Actively seek to deepen current donor relationships and forge new ones.
    • Work with CFO to develop a comprehensive communications plan to promote the Agency to its donors and maximize public awareness of fundraising activities of the organization; prepare or oversee the development of a high-quality donor communications materials that demonstrate deep knowledge of the Agency’s programs and promote its’ Mission, (e.g. solicitation materials, thank you letters, annual reports).
    • Develop and maintain relationship management systems that increase the organization's capacity to cultivate and sustain meaningful relationships with donors and funders.
    • Research, evaluate and recommend new fundraising opportunities and tactics in alignment with the Agency’s values. strategic priorities, and program work.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor and fundraising data that respects the privacy and confidentiality of donor information.
    • Follow-up action items by completing tasks and documenting results.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.
    Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of fundraising, marketing or sales experience required; bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, public relations, social services, or related field preferred.
    • Experience working in a career field with individuals with disabilities.
    • Ability to process a high volume of work.
    • Strong administrative, organizational and customer service skills, with impeccable follow-up.
    • Solid communication and interpersonal skills, including cold calling.
    • Ability to process computer data and format/generate reports.
    • Mathematical knowledge to include basic addition, subtraction, division, multiplications and computing averages.
    • Advanced Microsoft Office skills such as Word and Excel.
    This position is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position (37.5 hours) Monday through Friday. Schedule based on rep payee and marketing/outreach needs. Additional hours may be required to assure quality of service. T
