Organizational Psychologist studies and assesses the organizations workforce, management, culture, business objectives, and challenges using psychological principles and research methods. Designs and develops programs and tools that will be appropriate for the needs of the organization and which will assist employees and management to better achieve desired goals. Being an Organizational Psychologist utilizes various methods including employee surveys, focus groups, skill assessments, performance appraisals, and other feedback mechanisms to assist management in identifying issues and driving improvements. Creates solutions and programs that may be focused on employee selection, job training, leadership training, workplace and family issues, and change management. Additionally, Organizational Psychologist requires a master's degree in industrial/organizational psychology. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Organizational Psychologist works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.     Role Overview

    The Global Organizational Development Manager is responsible for driving initiatives that enhance the organization effectiveness and performance and culture. This position is responsible for assessing the organization’s structure, processes, leadership and culture to identify opportunities for improvement, and collaborates closely with business leaders and HR teams to design and implement global programs and initiatives. This position is specific responsible for upholding the organization’s culture, ensuring alignment across all departments with the organization’s mission, vision, and values.

    Key Responsibilities  

    • Implement organization development strategies and policies that align with company strategy and business goals., ensuring consistent practices across multiple regions and business units.
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive culture development strategy that reinforces company's mission, vision, and core values, and driving cultural change where necessary.
    • Work with the OD team and the broader HR team to develop leadership management strategies that identify, evaluate, develop and retain leaders and build a strong leadership pipeline, living corporate cultures and values in leadership team.
    • Create and execute organization culture programs, aligning departments with the organization’s mission, vision, and values, while ensuring effective communication to all stakeholders and considering cultural and language considerations across regions.
    • Lead change management initiatives, ensuring effective communication to all stakeholders, considering cultural and language considerations across regions.
    • Act as HR contact for all employees; actively engage employees to enhance working relationships, morale, productivity and retention, fostering open and frequent communications.
    • Evaluate the impact of these initiatives on indicators such as the turnover rate.
    • Stay informed about industry best practices and trends in organizational culture and leadership management, incorporating them into company programs and processes.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in human resources, organization culture, organizational development, business, psychology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
    • 5 years of experience in organizational development, leadership management, culture development, with a proven track record of global or multi-region involvement.
    • Strong business acumen and in-depth understanding of the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including English language proficiency; additional fluency in Mandarin or Dutch languages preferred.
    • Strong project management skills, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Adaptable to the fast-paced culture and environment of the biotech industry.
