Organizational Psychologist studies and assesses the organizations workforce, management, culture, business objectives, and challenges using psychological principles and research methods. Designs and develops programs and tools that will be appropriate for the needs of the organization and which will assist employees and management to better achieve desired goals. Being an Organizational Psychologist utilizes various methods including employee surveys, focus groups, skill assessments, performance appraisals, and other feedback mechanisms to assist management in identifying issues and driving improvements. Creates solutions and programs that may be focused on employee selection, job training, leadership training, workplace and family issues, and change management. Additionally, Organizational Psychologist requires a master's degree in industrial/organizational psychology. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Organizational Psychologist works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. Organizational Content Intern

SUMMARY:
Numerica Credit Union is seeking an intern for summer 2024 that live out our guiding principles and are provided the opportunity to learn, grow and develop through hands on experience to broaden your skills, business acumen and communication. With the goal of enhancing lives, fulfilling dreams and building communities this position is responsible for assisting the Organizational Content Administrator in updating, developing, and maintaining our internal search engine (“Noogle”) and Intranet.
Summer intern positions begin in June 2024. The exact dates are flexible depending on each student's availability and business need. Our internships are part-time paid positions. Average time is 25 hours/week, 300 hours total. (subject to change).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Currently enrolled in a Business, Communications, English, or a related field. Others will be considered if experience and education is applicable. Currently pursuing a degree in WA and/or ID state where the credit union is chartered is preferred.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Courtesy, tact and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Able to learn quickly and retain information. Excellent documentation, organizational and analytical skills. Proficient in Excel and Word. Must be able to learn new computer systems quickly. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
