Orthodontist prevents and corrects malformations of teeth and related oral structures. Must be a graduate of an accredited dental program and is licensed to practice dentistry. Being an Orthodontist may require 2-4 years of experience. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Orthodontist relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.     Summary
    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Orthodontist to join the team at our busy practice. The ideal candidate should have an excellent bedside manner and be committed to providing care that makes patients feel like family.     Responsibilities:
    • Review patients’ medical history, current medications, existing conditions, previous dental work, vital signs, and informed consent forms as needed
    • Diagnose patients’ dental needs and create individualized treatment plans
    • Work in collaboration with Pediatric Dentists
    • Educate patients on their diagnosis to ensure acceptance and confidence in their treatment
    • Procedures – Invisalign, traditional or clear braces, space maintainers, lingual and labia arch wires, and retainers
    • Complete progress notes, ensuring that they are clear and comprehensive
    Qualifications
    • DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree from an ADA accredited dental school is required
    • Board Certified and/or Board Eligible in Orthodontics 
    • Current state license
    • Previous experience in clinical or private practice
    • CPR, BLS, and NPI certifications
    • Deep understanding of dental standards and dental medicine trends
    • Excellent bedside manner
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

    Salary: $1,200.00 - $1,500.00 per day, negotiable commensurate experience
